Corn -
Corn futures shook off some Turnaround Tuesday profit taking and closed double digits higher in all contracts except for July. July had been the Corn -Corn futures are trading between 2 and 10 cents higher, currently led by the new crop. The front month rallied to a level not seen since Corn -Corn futures are trading a half cent higher to a half cent lower this morning after a rally on Monday led by old crop July. The USDA Export Corn -Corn futures rallied sharply today, led by old crop July. Some ethanol plants are moving their bids to the September futures, fearing a short Corn -Corn futures are trading higher at midday, led by July. Soybeans -
Soybean prices were modestly higher today, with the exception of the July futures and their 1 ¾ cent lower close. The USDA announced this Soybeans -Soybean prices are currently trading several cents higher at midday, led by the old crop. The USDA announced this morning that private exporters Soybeans -Soybean prices are currently in the green with July up 6 cents, and November up 4 cents. In general, traders were expecting USDA to show soybean Soybeans -Soybean prices were lower today, with new crop November and January the weakest on ideas that drier than predicted weather over the weekend allowed Soybeans -Soybean prices are currently trading steady to 9 cents lower.
